PART 1 – ECUADOR
Every detail of the Ecuador part of the trip has been carefully planned to help with the acclimatisation process to give you the best chance of easing into hiking at altitude and the best chance of success with the Inca Trail and Rainbow Mountain in Peru.
3 nights Accommodation in 5 Star Hotel - Swissotel, Quito - based on two people sharing a room (we will do our best to help with room shares)
2 nights accommodation in the beautiful Chilcabamba mountain lodge in Cotopaxi
Private transportation on each of the day trips - no other people, so we call the shots

PART 2 – PERU
Once again, this part of the trip has been carefully planned to give you the best experience possible. The Inti Raymi festival only happens once each year and you will get to experience this on top of the magical experiences of Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain.

What's Not Included
These parts have not been included to allow for maximum flexibility in terms of arriving in Quito and leaving Cusco - you might want to add extra days at the beginning or at the end to enjoy more of Ecuador and Peru.
Your own international flights to Quito in Ecuador and home from either Cusco or Lima
The flight transfer from Quito to Cusco in the middle of the trip. This is because we would need exact numbers and prices vary depending when booked. That said - we can help you with this part and get discounts for booking together. Allow around £450 for this internal flight.
Single room supplements. The single supplement for the whole trip is $1,200 * And if you take this option you get an individual tent on the Trail. We can help with matching up with another person, subject to equal gender numbers.
Your own travel insurance (mandatory)
Meals not already described as above - to allow for maximum flexibility around menu choice.
Tips for guides and drivers
Personal camping equipment such as sleeping bags and liners
Hiking poles, which can be hired for this portion of the trip
Evacuation: in the event of a serious medical injury, we will coordinate with your travel insurance company to arrange evacuation.
Additional nights in the hotel if you are unable to join the Inca Trail for any reason and transfer to the hotel from the trail, if started.
